The Jimmy Lapointe's Automotive Group 2020 Inc (JLAG) opened for business on Dec. 2, 2021 by Jimmy Lapointe and Matt Greenidge.

Jimmy Lapointe

Lapointe started working for his father and uncle on their used car lot selling cars about 44 years ago in the Pembroke area. In 1984, he bought the lot and four years later, an AMC/Jeep franchise. Petawawa Toyota and Pembroke Honda followed then Renfrew Chrysler.

In 2012 he was awarded the Nissan franchise and built Pembroke Nissan. In 2015, he decided to take a step back and sold all his stores except Petawawa Toyota.

Matt Greenidge

Greenidge started out 21 years ago at a Chrysler store in Ottawa working his way up the ladder from salesperson to used car sales manager, gaining a lot of experience in the next 10 years. He met Jimmy Lapointe and immediately knew it was the right fit.

So, he took on the role as GM of Lapointe Chrysler. After a successful first year with Lapointe needing some help with Renfrew Chrysler, Greenidge took on the role as dealer principal. Greenidge is now V-P running the day-today operations of JLAG.
